AGONU maintains a transparent, permanent process for correcting errors in the public record.
Our Standard
Material should be accurate, sourced, clearly dated, and distinguish official findings from preliminary or contextual information. Substantive errors are corrected promptly and visibly.
Submitting a Correction
Send the page address, disputed statement, supporting evidence, and your contact details to the Executive Secretariat. Every credible submission receives a registry reference for review.
Correction Record
Substantive amendments include a dated correction note explaining what changed. Official instruments are not silently replaced; superseding versions remain linked to the historical record.
Review and Appeal
Initial review is conducted by the responsible directorate and records officer. A reasoned request for secondary review may be submitted when evidence was overlooked or misunderstood.
